Happy 4th Birthday Tayler!!!
Our little girl is 4 today!!! Once again hard to believe! Her she is serving up pizza from her new pizza set.
Today we went out to our friend Sheilas, who shares the same birthday as Tayler, and picked up the play house from Sheilas yard. Tayler was so excited as we followed Daddys crane truck with the playhouse on the back!
Below is Tayler and Sheilas having fun on the swings at school!

Poor little Birdies
We have had a couple little birdies try come visit, but unfortunately have met the glass of the windows.
The little chickedee hit the one of the windows under the porch. He was able to get himself up into the rafters and recover. After about half an hour he flew away.
The other little guy hit the office window, Ed ran down and scooped him before the cat could. We were able to get him on a towel to rest and eventually he flew off too. Ed is wondering if there are alot of babies out trying out their wings as these two didn't look that old.

Happy 9th Birthday Dylan!!!
This post is a couple days late, but with all the excitement I had trouble sitting down to do this.
My little guy is growing up !!!!!!!!!!
My little guy is growing up !!!!!!!!!!
Still not sure where the time went! Wasn't it yesterday we were at the hospital??? Of course it was just the it was NINE years ago yesterday! Nine wow!
He had a good day, we started with pancakes for breakfast - mmmmmmmmm!! Ed and I gave him a Bruder loader and little grizzly bear statue for his birthday. He spent the morning playing with Russ and Tay, then we headed to town for a few extra groceries for his party later. We stopped by the mailbox and there was a two envelopes one from GG and one from Grandma and Grandpa Mounce , after the mailbox we headed to the toy store for some shopping - they were so cute - they had their little wallets and they were adding up purchases and seeing what else they could afford. They all came away with new toys Dylan a new Bruder Excavator and leopard statue
(Russ and Tays will be revealed on their birthdays - ;-))
After many hours of waiting - Michael and Rennee came and then Sierra and her family. They all played so good, while I prepped the dinner of homemade pizzas and chips. They had so much fun it was hard to get them to come in and eat. After dinner we sang Happy Birthday and had Brownies, strawberries, yoghurt and Sprinkles. MMMMMMMMMMMM We were able to sit them down for a few minites for presents then they were off again!

Heather picked up Mike and Renee around 7:45 and then Ed and I and Beverly and Jayson took all the kids for a big long walk through the property, too burn off all the sugar and excitement.
Beverly and Jason and the girls had just come back from Hawaii, so they showed us their beautiful pictures over tea. I think I could handle going to Hawaii one day!!

Working on the side of the house

Ed is putting on the "eyebrow" on the side of the house facing the driveway. Amazing how it completes that side of the house. As usual the crane comes in VERY handy, I can't imagine how he would have gotten it up there without it!
Before and after photo, really finishes off that side and gives the roof a better look too.
Mornings on the back porch

I moved my outside table and chairs to the back porch a couple days ago, and I am so happy. I go out here in the mornings and have a cup of tea and listen to the birds. On the morning I took this picture the sun was streaming in from the side and it was so warm in that chair! I love taking a book and cup of tea and hanging out in the afternoon, its nice and cool in the shade when the sun is out.

This is the view from the porch, I can watch over the kids as they play on their favorite dirt hill.
Today is not so sunny, in fact it is raining and we are so happy!! It hasn't rained for a long time, I can't remember the last time it did. It has been getting quite dusty as the sun has dried out the dirt in front of the house, so this rain will settle it down again for a little while.
Well off to make dinner - beef stroganoff over noodles mmmmmmmmmm

Night time at the Kelseys
Last night we had a flurry or should I said furry of activity that lasted until the morning. At about 4am I was listening to, what sounded like, an animal chewing on paper. Ed got up to use the bathroom, so I said can you check and see who is chewing on the paper. When he looked down Honey was playing with a live mouse in our bedroom. Ed quickly got a towel and threw the mouse and towel out the window. Thinking all was over we went back to sleep. During this time Honey had a new surprise. I was cleaning up Taylers room, and trying to figure out what these tiny little black things were. Well, they belonged to the visitor that was hiding in Taylers Pop up tent. While I was trying to get the table out of the tent (that Tay and Russ had put in ), out ran a large furry thing. I SCREAMED. Ed came running and got everything under control - because I was NOT dealing with it. We figured out it was a flying squirrel, when it jumped off the stump Ed had placed it on, spread its "wings" and ran up a tree. We still can't figure out how she got it, shes pretty fat to be chasing squirrels.
It had the BIGGEST eyes.
Unfortunately this picture is so dark you can hardly see it but hes hanging off one of the light switches by the front door.
Well, I am going to bed now and hoping we don't have anymore night time visitors. Right now Honey is sleeping on the back of the couch, I hope she doesn't have the energy for hunting tonight!

Happy Easter from Prince George!
We spent Easter in Prince George with our wonderful friends Sue and Mike and their girls Annika and Lauren. We had a great time! We packed alot into two and a half days but we had a fun time doing it.

The next day the Dads took the kids to the Railway Museum and once again Sue and I got free time alone to shop and chat! Later we met up and let the big boys have their free time and took the kids home for lunch and egg decorating. They had so much fun, even Mike got into the fun. The next morning is Easter, well try get 5 kids to go to bed when the Easter bunny is coming! Whew - but we did it!

We went up Friday afternoon and arrived right around dinner time (oh what timing!) We had a yummy pizza and just sat around and visited for quite a while as the kids played and played. When bedtime came around it was hard to separate them. After we finally got them through bedtime Sue and I stole away for so late night shopping (this is very normal for me and my friends, we shop around 10pm and have tea, right Erin, right Bev!!) Then Sue and I stayed awake talking till 2am!!! oh but it was so great I had trouble going to bed I was wound up!

Looking for Loot! The Easter Bunny left a few clues for each of the kids to have a mini treasure hunt for their baskets of loot! It was so funny watching them go this way and that running around, bouncing off the walls with excitement!

Now we all have to check out our basket who got what and sneak some chocolate before breakfast!

To burn off the sugar - that was coursing through the veins of 5 little children we went to Fort George park. They have a huge playground down by the river and Exploration Place is there too. We had a ball at Exploration place (I had to try everything out too!) its all hands on for the kids there was a tugboat play structure, water table, dinosaur dig, hockey, jail cell(none of the kids would visit that though!) and a huge nature set up upstairs, we had great time.

Dylan and Russell visited the beaver lodge and Tayler was eatten by a T-Rex (but only temporarily!)
And to top off the fun, Annika took us to see the pony she is taking lessons on, this is Tabby. She reminds me so much of Prizey the first pony I rode with Sonja Young.
After visiting Tabby we went home for the biggest yummiest turkey dinner - it was soooooooo delicous!
We had such a great time thank Eastons for a fabulous Easter!!!
Love all of us!

Veggies, Veggies, Veggies

We started planting our seeds to put in the garden. We have our garden plot started but it needs more help and everyone (but me) wants it WAY bigger! I'm the one who has to make it WAY bigger and its hard going!

The kids were so excited to finally start their seeds they have been asking for days now. It has been a bit over a week since I took these pictures and the spouts are already showing. They watch them everyday so see the progress!
This morning I was thinking I had better get back out and continue on the garden expansion, but when we got out of bed we had an inch of snow on the ground, crazy wind that made the snow come in sideways. Needless to say I opted for a strong start morning with Tayler and a cup of tea and lunch by the fire in the afternoon. Maybe this weekend.
