Tayler is 3!

Tayler turned 3 April 28! On April 30 she had her friends for a Teddy Bear Tea party in my parents front yard for her Birthday. It was so cute we had little scones and jello jigglers in the shape of teddy bear heads, little cupcakes and tea in tiny kid sized tea cups.
On Taylers birthday she went to her friend Dylan and Sawyers for the day. In the afternoon they all went over to Goldstream preschool for a drop-in and the teacher made Tayler this crown and all the kids sang her Happy Birthday. She was so excited when I went to pick her up, she loved the crown so much she wore it for two days and tried to go to bed in it.

Here is my little Rock Star - Hayley and Jessie gave Tayler this pink Guitar for her birthday - the entire family has been getting enjoyment out of this present. Dylan, on a fairly regular basis, is jamming on it, and I even caught Ed playing for the kids the other day.

Dylan is 8!

April 24 Dylan turned 8, we had a party for him on April 25 at the park down the road, him and his buddies ran and played for three hours it was wonderful! And not much mess to clean up!

Unfortunately it was very hard to get any good pictures, as they were on the go the whole time.

With getting one year older, he is now an expert at everything (and I mean everything!) Answers for everyone, includes himself in ALL conversations, oh man - I know just wait till he is a teeneager.

Mobile Sand Box

Ed and I have been pouring cement in a couple places around the house, new patio at the back door, new steps into the crawlspace and this weekend new garage floor. When Ed arrived home with his huge trailer full of gravel, Dylan and Russells eyes lit up and they were out the door and into the trailer, building roads, sifting it, moving it to all sides, they were having a ball. At one point Ed had to move it, so it was in a better position for loading cement mixers and the kids wouldn't even get out, they continued to play.

Easter at the Cabin

Here are some pictures from Easeter weekend. As you can see there was still alot of snow! When we arrive the car wouldn't go down the driveway so Ed walkedin and iopened up the cabin. while the kids and I unloaded the 4wheeler. Dylan drove Tay and Russ, as Ed and I pushed them down the driveway. (4wheeler are CRAPPING in the snow!!!) Once we had the tracks, Ed and Dylan went back and forth for all our stuff from the car while Russ and Tay and I set up beds and a fire. We were good then. The Easter bunny visited the next morning and hid some eggs around the cabin for the kids, then the Boys and I made an igloo - though we didn't have the engineering skills to put the roof on so plywood had to do.
We stayed 5 days and had a great time. There was lots of snow but it was pretty warm.
Tayler decided she could handle the snow and didn't need a coat.
