October 13/07
We have finished packing (a couple days ago) and we are getting ready to leave, our plane leaves at 2pm. We head out and pick up lunch at the Red barn and go Hang out at the airport - we figure better there than traffic.
This is all new for the kids, and they take it all in stride. We did have the videos in the backs of the seats that I had heard so much about, but we coloured and played dice games and even cards for a little while. Poor Tayler had a harder time, as there was no where for her to go, but She did really well too.
Chris and Chris picked us at midnight their time, we loaded up the kids and made the last leg of the journey to their house in Fitzroy Harbour.
Oct 14/07
We are all jetlagged so we spent the day hanging around the house and going for a walk behind the house. We found a porcupine lumbering on the opposite side of the creek so Chris nugded it towards us so we could get a better look. The autumn colors were amazing.
In the afternoon Christine and I spent 4 hours in emergency so I could some antibiotics for my sinus infection, on the bright side we had a good visit.
