Granola

Granola
Super good, especially with Vanilla yogurt and fruit


½ cup margarine
¾ cup honey
1 ½ tsp vanilla
3 cups old fashioned oatmeal
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup pumpkin seeds

Melt together margarine, honey and vanilla in a large pot. In another bowl mix together remaining ingredients and add to honey mixture. Remove from heat and stir until well mixed. Bake at 325 for 25 minutes stir a couple times.
When cool add 1 ½ cups of dried fruit.

Subs or additions
Nuts: Almonds, pecans, peanuts, cashews
Others: coconut, wheat germ, Kashi cereal, bran flakes, sesame seeds, flax seed
Fruit: any dried chopped fruit

Yay! New recipes! Alan and I were just talking about making our own granola... Maybe we'll make some with this recipe. Sounds delicious!
