I took so many pictures driving back from Edmonton, so many mountains so little space
Keeping up with the craziness of 3 country kids, and the milestones of building an off-grid house in the Cariboo.

Edmonton Here we come!
In June, my friend close friend Charlotte came out from Nova Scotia to Edmonton. Without missing a beat I said I'm coming to see you!!! I have never driven from Jasper through to Edmonton so I was excited. I have made the loop from Kamloops to Jasper to Prince George and back to Kamloops as kid, but not to Edmonton.
We, Tayler, Russell and I, left Saturday June 16 for Clearwater to spent the night with Larry and Sharon and off the next morning for Edmonton 7 hours from Clearwater. It was the most beautiful drive other than it RAINED!!!!! all the way through.

I went to pick Tayler up and I was told she couldn't leave yet as she was the star seller! Big Brown Eyes and cute little smile she had most people stopping for a box!

Walking around the property
We went for a walk a couple evenings ago in the drizzling rain! Spice decided she would come to and followed us around but she was extra spunky and was doing silly things so we had to chase her ahead of us before she ran us over!
I love taking pictures of the clouds!

Getting the Garden In!
Check it put we got a rototiller!!! Yippy I was looking at the garden and trying to figure how I was going to turn it to be able to plant stuff - and look what we found!!!
Yes we found it at the dump - sounds silly but it cost us a total of $15 and it tilled the entire garden - which is NOT small!
Ed took the old motor put this one on, welded a piece and bought a V-belt and Voila working rototiller!
Can you tell I'm excited about it!
| Kids were in charge of removing big sticks and rocks |
| Chickens getting in on the action |
It did the greatest job and we planted everything the next day and have had rain and sun for the past few weeks. I have been checking the garden everyday now for new plants and I Finally started seeing them yesterday ! Yippy!
